A wholesale ice distributor in Barcelona, Spain, needed to produce multiple ice types to serve diverse customers: tube ice for bars and events, cube ice for restaurants, and flake ice for the fishing port. The facility operates year-round with seasonal demand peaks during summer tourism.

Solution

DAXTRO designed a flexible three-machine facility: one 10-ton tube ice machine, one 5-ton cube ice machine, and one 10-ton flake ice machine, sharing a large cold room with separate storage zones for each ice type.
