1. Ambient Temperature

This is the #1 factor. Every 1°C increase above 25°C reduces ice production by approximately 2-3%. At 40°C ambient temperature, expect 30-40% less output. For tropical climates, always specify a water-cooled condenser or oversize the machine by 30%.

2. Water Inlet Temperature

Warmer inlet water requires more energy to freeze. Inlet water above 25°C significantly reduces production. DAXTRO machines perform best with inlet water at 5-20°C.

3. Water Quality

Hard water or water with high mineral content deposits scale on tube surfaces, reducing heat transfer efficiency. Install a water softener and filter system. Clean scale buildup every 3-6 months.
